How to set up IFTTT

 

If you have completed this in a previous step you can skip this

  1. Go to https://ifttt.com/join

  2. Sign up using your email address

  3. You should now be setup you can continue with the steps below

Set up Applet​

​

  1. Go to https://ifttt.com/applets/FQjDU4CE

  2. Click the "Connect" button 

  3. Follow the steps to connect to your Healthmate and Google account

  4. Open your "weight_rawdata" google sheet

  5. Click "Share" in the top-right corner and select "Get shareable link"

  6. Copy the URL of weight_rawdata

  7. Open your "Nutrition Tracking" sheet and select the "Settings" tab

  8. Paste URL in adjacent cell to weight_rawdata

  9. Under the Goal settings heading in the "Settings" tab make sure the check boxes next to "My scales track body fat" and "My scales track muscle mass" are both ticked.

  10. Click on the "Dashboard" tab

  11. On the left side of your large weight tracking graph in the darker grey area next to the number 25 you should see a small plus symbol

  12. Click on the plus symbol to unhide "Fat Mass" and "Muscle mass"

  13. Tick the check boxes under "Fat mass" and "Muscle mass" for this data to be shown on your large weight tracking graph

  14. Click on the "DataTable" tab

  15. Above the column D label you should see a small plus symbol

  16. Click on the plus symbol to unhide "BF (kg)" and "Muscle mass (kg)"

  17. Repeat with the plus above column P

Everyday at the same time when you step on the scales your body weight, fat and muscle mass will be automatically logged into your Nutrition Tracking spreadsheet.
